I know here the response will be "Mastodon and the Fediverse will never collapse though" and my response would be "They might not be technically unkillable, but like there a few internet things that still exist that barely are mentioned outside of a circle of nerds… and sometimes the community is what can make someone leave, not the infrastructure." Not saying M or F is at that point, but let's not get cocky and miss the point of the post. </$0.02>
