I'm a realist and don't think recent events will majorly change things. BUT it would be wonderful and funny if looking back on today's events if Elon is helping push the open web ( #opensource, #Fediverse, owning your own content, whatever) along further. 🤔

Did my first "hide boosts from" just now. Ironically it was from someone who is very heavy into #indieweb #fediverse. I get your passionate, but if every fourth or fifth thing in my timeline is a bad fact about Twitter or repeat post on Mastodon growth, that i'll maybe hope to see in a list(?).…
