For some reading this on #Mastodon some of this might fall into "hard to swallow pills" meme territory but i'm mostly agreeing with @andy on most of on why #Mastodon although still superior long-term… is a little icky lately.

It's mainly seeing how someone references "birdsite" and the "we are trying so much not to be Twitter" that it's a little "trying too much".
